Norway had Erling Braut Haaland to thank for a late winner in their last-32 match against Ivory Coast, after Amad Diallo's stunning goal had seemed enough to take the game into extra time.

The co-hosts beat Ecuador 2-0 in the last round thanks to first-half goals from Julian Quinones and Raul Jimenez. Facing the Mexicans at this venue would be a particularly tough test as they have an excellent record here over the years.
